Klangkuesse gave us a splendid evening in Aldeburgh with their concert,a capella, which we tremendously enjoyed. We have often heard virtuoso a capella performances by prestigious groups like the King's Singers in close harmony and are very aware of the demands this makes in technique. Klangkuesse ''got it all''; intonation, phrasing, dynamics, good individual voices well blended, musicality,AND mime! This could only have been achieved by hard practice and dedication, and we were infected by their enthusism and sense of fun. Thank you all very much--and come again!

The wonderful Quartet Klangkuesse from Germany were performing on February 21st at the Jubilee Hall in Aldeburgh. As a singer myself and pretty well versed in he art of close harmony singing I was intrigued to hear this group. Far from being disappointed my husband and I were bewitched by the skill, accuracy of tone and pitch, programming and personality of the four talented singers. Their humour was infectious and I am sure everybody in the audience was delighted with this unusual type of singing which is rarely, if ever, heard in somewhat highbrow Aldeburgh. If they decide to return ever I shall be the first to offer my services to help fill every seat in the Jubilee Hall, which is what they deserve.

I LOVED the klangkuesse evening in Aldeburgh . One could really relax into the perfectionism of the entertainment. The quartet obviously had fun making music together and that came across to the audience. The balance of voices was marvellous, the music was extremely high quality throughout and the enthusiasm and energy came over and transported us to another world. The humour made one laugh out loud.Thank you all.

klangkuesse were brilliant! Their easy relaxed performance was a joy to watch and hear. the harmonies were out of this world wth a great mixture of songs that made one laugh or cry with so much energy and emotion they put into the performance. Their gentle singing at the Church service gave the service extra meaning and depth which was quite astounding . They should go professional! They cerainly sounded it.

On behalf of all "Klangküsse" I want to say thank you for all who listened to our concert in Aldeburgh and as well to all the lovely people in the church.
It was a wonderful experience for us and we will surely talk for a long time about this great evening, all the kind people we spoke to and of course all those who made our stay in Aldeburgh such a comfortable event! You are wonderful! |
